The Role Description for Executive Assistant to Dan Yarrington is:

By consistently performing their duties at the required quality and outcome levels, the Executive Assistant provides comprehensive professional organizational and project support to Dan. 

The outcomes of doing this role successfully will result in Dan being able to exclusively focus on:

• Making games
• Selling games
• Giving games

Fulfilling this role effectively will enable Dan and the entire Tycoon organization to:

• Accomplish more
• Avoid missing details
• Stay on schedule
• Achieve consistent and sustainable productivity

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of professional experience excelling at these duties and consistently demonstrating success in practice.

  • Proactive - Always planning ahead to assist the Publisher best and avoid obstacles to productivity and meeting deadlines. 
  • Detail-oriented - Details matter in all tasks and communications. Consistency in the details is key to success in this role. 

The critical nature of the administrative part of this Role cannot be overstated. The primary purpose of the Executive Assistant is to create maximum flow and speed and minimize or exterminate anything that slows Dan down.

The Executive Assistant must be able to proactively assist Dan with a variety of critical administrative responsibilities, making sure each of the following are clear, current, and detailed:

• All correspondence, including emails, video calls, phone calls, and internal communications. 
• Scheduling appointments and arranging meetings.
• Entering, organizing, and managing data across a wide variety of formats.
• Booking travel and accommodations for a variety of trips during the year.
• Leading in organizing and resolving open loops
• Setting reminders for and tracking successful completion of projects and tasks by their deadlines.
• Facilitating the resolution of challenges that arise within the scope of responsibilities. 
• Other duties to be assigned as they come up.

Important Note:

• These duties include Dan’s personal AND professional obligations to enable and support Dan’s ability to run a fully integrated life that maximizes quality time with family and friends while simultaneously building and growing businesses.

Where and When?

• This position works in person at our headquarters and offices in Londonderry, NH. 
• This is a dedicated, ongoing position typically working 50+ hours a week. 
• Working hours are generally Monday to Friday, with some weekend time the schedule requires.
• Paid Tryouts are required prior to starting so that you and Dan can ensure this position is a fit and has a high probability of working well for both parties in the long term.
